The French accent, especially if on a fit sort, is the one entirely acceptable non-British English accent.
In fact there are many English accents that do not meet those criteria, like the way people from Norwich speak just to name one example.

An ex french girlfriend of mine used to eat raw bacon.
I thought she was asking me if I liked Robbie Keane.

The Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité (CRS) (English: Republican Security Companies) are the riot control forces and general reserve of the French National Police.

Love Paris. It a tough city to start with but I've worked there on an off since '98 on 3 projects. Once you get to now you way around it helps. To be honest I don't even remember meeting many Parisians. A lot of people from other parts of France and of course ex-pats.

By "very few" I probably literally mean one or two, after a few beers, btw.

I'm no expert on French people or France but the very few French people I've spoken to on the subject seem to dislike Paris and people from there.
Probably very similar with how people from a lot of the rest of the UK talk about London and Londoners.

REALGSA 10:38 Thu Jul 16 Re: Paris ....be London soon enough France is different
"Their country has that relaxed muslim thing, that shit won't be tolerated here but is in france."
Er, completely the opposite unless I misunderstand your post. The French don't tolerate any kind of what they call "communautarisme", i.e. multiculturism. There is only one identity, and its "républicain". Hence semi-banning of religious dress/symbols (inc. catholic).
For what it's worth, I happened to be there that day - not on the boulevard Barbès which is what you see on the vid, but at the Gard du Nord where what was a peaceful and very well-managed pro-Palestine demonstration started, until the CRS started their usual cuntery.

Paris has always been the petulant spoilt brat of the 7 French states - at least from what I learnt working as an international telecom engineer back in the 1970s.
Engineers in all the other provincial state capitals were very friendly and we would exchange data about current affairs, football, almost anything except politics, which the grown-ups in both counties frowned on. We'd even agree to swap languages each time so we'd better understand each other,
In Paris?
Non! Non! Non! Absolument NON!
I could here the engineers in cities like Lille & Bordeax chuckling quietly as I told them of my telephonic adventures in their country's capital.
Basically Paris & the Parisians won't be told and can't be wrong solely because it's Paris and they're Parisians. A trait the UK authorities seem hell-bent on emulating.
